Important Information about April 6 City Council Meeting
NOTICE OF THE CITY OF GALESBURG CITY COUNCIL MEETING
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the meeting of the City Council scheduled for April 6, 2020, starting at 7:00) pm at City Hall, 200 E. Michigan Avenue, Galesburg, Michigan will be conducted virtually by phone, due to health concerns surrounding Coronavirus/COVID-19 under the Governor of Michigan's Executive Orders 2020-15 and 2020-21.
The Public may participate in the City Commission's meeting via telephone at the phone number listed below:
At 7:00 p.m. on Monday, April 6, 2020 please dial 844-474-0925; when prompted, please enter the Participant passcode: 33483742# to be included in the Public Meeting.
Instructions for Public Comment Periods
Public comment periods will also be handled by telephone conferencing. The Mayor will announce when the public comment periods are open and when they close.
The Galesburg City Commission's Rules of Procedures regarding public comment periods are still in effect.
To comply with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), Any citizen requesting an accommodation to participate in this meeting, and/or to obtain this notice in alternate formats, please contact the City Clerk, (269) 665-7000, prior to the meeting.

CITY HALL WILL BE CLOSED TO
THE PUBLIC UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE.
All Citizens are under a shelter in place order by Governer Whitmer. Please, stay home and stay safe.
Staff will be in the office on Monday, Wednesday and Thursdays from 11:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. to meet the essential needs of the City.
Water bills may be paid online at: or by clicking on the above link "PAY ONLINE". Payments may also be put in the dropbox outside the front door at City Hall.
If you have a non-emergency Police matter, please call 269-967-7204.
If you have a water or sewer emergency call 269-998-0334.
If you live in Galesburg and need food, you can arrange pick up at
our local Loaves and Fishes Food Pantry by calling 269-665-9953.
In attempts to curb the spread of COVID-19, the City of Galesburg has CLOSED all
playgrounds, gazebos, and pavilions in all of our City Parks until further notice. Our walking
trails in the park behind City Hall will remain open to the public and garbage receptacles will be checked and maintained regularly. THANK YOU for your Patience and understanding
during this pandemic as we are trying to do what is best for everyone.

A reminder to all residents that parking on Galesburg City
streets is illegal from October 15 through April 15 of each year
from 3:00 a.m.- 6:00 a.m. This is to facilitate clearing our roads
of snow which could happen this early or this late each year.

The Downtown Development Authority (DDA)
has an opening on their Board. If you are interested in this
position, please stop at City Hall to pick up an application.
