An ordinance reducing the number of members of the City Planning Commission; to provide an effective date; and to repeal all ordinances in conflict herewith.


The City of Galesburg, Kalamazoo County, Michigan ordains:


SECTION 1

AMENDMENT TO SECTION 54, ARTICLE II "PLANNING COMMISSION" OF THE CITY OF GALESBURG CODE OF ORDINANCES


Section 54, Article 11 "Planning Commission" Subsection 16 of the City of Galesburg Code of Ordinances is hereby such that the second sentence of the section reads as follows:


"The City of Galesburg Planning Commission shall have five members". The last sentence in the section is eliminated in its entirety.


SECTION 2

REPEAL OF CONFLICTING ORDINANCES.


All ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby repealed.



SECTION 3

EFFECTIVE DATE


This Ordinance shall take effect upon publication, after adoption.
